Seattle and goodbye WA

We stopped off in Seattle to visit with family. The weather continued to be gorgeous as it had been for our whole trip. Who knew?!

Bye bye Washington; we'll miss you!

Night at Nell Thorn

The night started out, as most nights do, sober and entirely pleasant.

After just a couple of drinks though, the crowd started to get a little silly.

And once the bubbly was uncorked we were all too goofy for words.

Someone was in just a tiny little bit of trouble upon his arrival, "Of course I know I have to get up at 4 am - what's the big deal??"

(Nell Thorn is a wonderful place for dinner and drinks if you find yourself in La Conner.)

Party at the LCT

With true class and style we partied it up on the 26th with a truck load of La Conner alumni. I'm sorry these pictures are so samey - anyway we were having fun.

Kieran

Kieran visited on Boxing day - what fun! It has been ages since I've seen him last and he is so big, and verbal now. It was fun to hear him count and say his letters - what a sweetie.

Definitely the highlight for me was going on this walk with Kieran when he held my hand and we sang We Wish You a Merry Christmas.

(That's Martinelli's apple cider in his champagne flute.)

Oscar the Christmas kitty

Scott and Fran didn't really take us seriously when we hinted that we were going to the shelter to adopt them a new cat, that is until we came home with Oscar the Christmas kitty.

Mom and Dad meet your new cat!

Very playful.

Very cuddly.

Very dog savvy. This one's a winner!
