It's about time

I've been talking about getting a papasan for ages now. After cruising Craig's list for many months this one came up, and at 30 bucks. What a steal! My machinations had me curled up knitting in it my every waking hour, but guess what, hubby loves it too! Time for a second, and death to the couch? Hmmm.

Not blogging much these days...

My apologies for the slow pace of this blog lately. My camera is broken and I've been relying on Linton's for several months now. But I expect the coolpix to be shipped back fairly soon.

While not posting much there have been barbecues.

A new batch of soap, eucalyptus this time.

And a really stellar gift from my mom, something she crocheted before Cliff was born. It needed just a little bit of finishing work but is now ready for display.

Somebody had a birthday...

Somebody had a birthday and though I didn't get around to making a big fuss about it here, we did celebrate.

Saturday afternoon

Saturday afternoon: there was a long hot walk in the woods, and a slow cool lunch on the porch. It doesn't get much better than that. Like the generic brand of red stripe? Yup it's called Red Oval, hilarious.

Breakfast

Breakfast is still my favorite meal, and today I added crepes to the repertoire. How have I gotten this far and never made crepes before?
