Spice cookies

Okay, okay, Joy Of Cooking is annoying sometimes. But when you want to make cookies, and don't want to got to the store for anything Joy is pretty much the place to go. Love these spice cookies. I remind myself of Aunie by baking only 8 at a time and freezing the rest. Hooray for Grandmothers and their good lessons.

The Barber of Seville

My Christmas present from Linton this year was tickets to see The Barber of Seville. (Could there have been any present better? I think not.) We got dressed up and went to Seattle. It was a really fun performance and a great day on the town.

Henry gets a bath

I struggle him into the bathtub one paw at a time, him removing paws from the dreadful tub where possible. Eventually I win and give him a good scrub. Afterwards he is exhausted and only makes it part way onto his bed before collapsing.

Holiday catch up

I have ridiculously few pictures from the holidays, though they were wonderful, wonderful. I just wasn't in shutterbug mode. Here's what little I have.
