La Conner livin'

Several years ago I was walking through La Conner with my mom. We went down onto one of the docks in town; she told me it was the dock she stood on when she and Scott decided to move to La Conner. I sometimes find myself there, and think of my parents years ago.

A cookie by any other name

I just like the fact that these cookies are sometimes called snowballs, sometimes Russian tea cakes, and sometimes Mexican wedding cakes. They are very, very good. Recipes for these pepper the internet, you should try them sometime.

Nothin' much

I was taking pictures of my breakfast the other day - like ya do - when I set my camera down and this was framed. I like it, so thought I'd share.
