Further down the garden I found some bulbs poking their heads up. They were almost totally covered in leaves which I diligently cleared away in the warm sunshine. That night it snowed. I think they've survived, but how dopey can I get?

Spring Buds
There is a bush, about my height, in the back yard. It is starting to show green buds. I have no idea what it is.
