Pizza dough
I made a batch of pizza dough, and let me tell you it is yummy. This is fun playing with all this yeast and flour lately. Next time I want to branch out and make a sweet bread... hmmm, who knows.

Exit Through The Gift Shop
I don't think I've ever blogged without a photo before, but just had to give a shout out to the movie, Exit Through The Gift Shop. On Colin's recommendation we went to see it this Friday. If you have a chance to see it you should.

Around the house
Apologies for not blogging much lately. Here is a little bit of an around the house update.
I filled water bottles with rice for very quick door stops, and they have been working a treat for weeks now.
Yesterday I went into a bag making frenzy. The green one can be used as a light weight back pack for my new bicycle commute. The blue one is a project bag for knitting and the pink is going in the collection of reusable grocery bags that only rarely make it to the grocery store.
And today I was in the kitchen making more Tassajara bread. This time I branched out and made two plain and two cheesy. I only wish I could have caught the steam pouring out of the loaf. Mmmmm.

Employed...
I'm employed. It is at a shocking rate I haven't worked for since high school. What can I say? Times are tough, oh ya, and it is in a knitting shop. Fantastic.
Speaking of knitting, this is just a teaser photo because this gifty hasn't been mailed yet. I think my friends and family should keep having babies, because knitting for infants is the best thing ever.

3 dollar sweater
Many months ago I bought this bulky, ill fitting sweater for 3 bucks at the Louisville thrift shop.
See? Very ill fitting.
But I bought it for the yarn. The only clues about the yarn is a tag saying "100% wool. Made in Ireland"
I measured and weighed. There is a lot of yarn here.
Then, for a going away present, the Boulder Knitting Collective gave me a pattern I'd been lusting after for ages, Berkshire Dolman. Ta - da! A three dollar hand knit sweater.
